The Pentados Series Poetry Contest 2026
Open to all Canadian citizens. All styles welcome.

Subject Guidelines
All poems in your manuscript must adhere to one specific theme of your choice.

Awards
Five poets will be selected to feature their poetry in a perfect bound anthology. All five selected poets will receive:
- An award certificate
- 10 copies of the anthology
Submission Rules
- Length: Manuscripts of 15 pages of poetry. Each page has a maximum of 36 lines (spaces between stanzas count as lines).
- Width: Line width restricted to 55 characters, including punctuation and spaces between words.
- Formatting: Arial 12 font, single-spaced on 8.5" x 11" plain white paper, one side only.
- Status: Poems must be unpublished and not sent elsewhere.
Blind Judging Instructions
No author I.D. to be anywhere, front or back, on any poem page. Do not send pictures, artwork or bio.
Cover page 1: Contact information — author name, complete mailing address, phone number, e-mail (if possible) — and the list of poem titles in the manuscript.
Cover page 2: ONLY the list of poem titles in the manuscript (no name or contact info).
The author retains all rights to his/her poetry.
How to Enter
Entry Fees:
- $10 CAD — first manuscript
- $5 CAD — each additional manuscript
No limit to the number of submissions per entrant.

Postmarked on or before April 30, 2026.

Manuscripts are not returned. Additional copies for purchase by winners: $15 each.
