JILL BATTSON

Jill is an internationally published poet and poetry activist. She created and hosted the successful poetry reading series "The Poets' Refuge" and has initiated and produced many poetry events. She has promoted poetry on radio and television and edited an anthology for Key Porter Books. Jill is actively involved in promoting fine poets and great poetry. In April 2010 Jill was appointed as Poet Laureate of Cobourg, Ontario.

DEBBIE OKUN HILL

Has been writing for over 30 years but has only been focusing on poetry since 2003. She is an experienced journalist/communication specialist, previously employed at two rural newspapers as well as The Winnipeg Art Gallery, Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, and Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
