Rules and Guidelines:

Poems wanted that are uplifting on happy themes, such as an exciting, fun experience, a momentous occasion, a positive time in your life.
Any poem(s) which will leave us smiling, not laughing.
Also accepting poems on benevolent, friendly ghosts and/or spirits.
Poems to be no longer than 32 lines and the stanza spaces count as lines.
Poem title & space between the title and body of the poem do not count as lines.
Line Width: No more than 60 characters per line,
including spaces between the words.
Poems to be typed single spaced one poem per page,
Arial #11 Font on white letter size paper - 8.5 x 11.
Poems to be unpublished and not sent elsewhere.
Blind Judging: Author I.D. not to be anywhere on the same pages as the poems.
Include a cover page with your name, mailing address and phone number and
list of poems titles or first lines if no titles.
All styles welcome.
Deadline: Poems to be received on/or before February 29, 2024.
Hard copy submissions only.
Entry fee: $1 per poem.
There is no limit to the number of submissions.
For every 10 poems entered, you may submit one poem for free.
