The Ontario Poetry Society Presents:
The Pentados Series Poetry Contest 2026 Open To All Canadian Citizens Awards Five poets will be selected to feature their poetry in a perfect bound anthology and all five selected poets will receive an award certificate plus 10 copies of the anthology. Subject Guidelines: All poems in your manuscript must adhere to one specific theme of your choice. All styles welcome. Submission Rules: Manuscripts of 15 pages of poetry accepted. Each page has a maximum of 36 lines using Arial 12 font. The spaces between stanzas count as lines. Line width is restricted to 55 characters, including punctuation and spaces between words. Poems are to be unpublished and not sent elsewhere. Blind Judging: Manuscript to be submitted on plain white paper, single-spaced on 8.5 x 11” pages. Poems to be printed on only one side of a sheet, and no author I.D. to be anywhere, front or back, on any of them. Do not send pictures, artwork or bio. A cover page is to have contact information with author name, complete mailing address, phone number and e-mail (if possible) and the list of poem titles in the manuscript. ***A second cover page is to have ONLY the list of the poem titles in the manuscript. Deadline, Entry Fee: $10 CAD for the first manuscript. Additional manuscripts are $5 CAD each. There is no limit to the number of submissions per entrant. Include a #10 s.a.s.e. for the winners list and receive $2 in T.O.P.S. coupons to use for another contest. Manuscripts are not returned. Additional copies for purchase by the winner will be $15 each.
