Rules and Guidelines:
Heteronyms are words that are spelled the same but have different meanings when pronounced differently.
Many heteronyms are pronounced one way as a verb and another as a noun.
All of the following words MUST be used in the poem both as a noun and as a verb.

Buffet - n. a place for serve-yourself food; v. to pound or bump
Converse - n. the opposite; v. to talk
Incense - n. a burnt aromatic; v. to make angry
Refuse - n. garbage v. to say no
Tear - n. fluid in the eye; v. to rip
Wind - n. the blowing air; v. to coil up

Max. length per poem is 36 lines and the spaces
between the stanzas count as lines.
Poem title does not count, nor does the space between the title
and the first line of the poem. All themes and styles welcome.
Poems missing any of the above words as a noun and as a verb will be
automatically disqualified.
Max. 3 poems per poet to be submitted.

Blind Judging:
Author's name must not appear anywhere on the same page(s) as the poem(s),
back or front. Attach a cover page with author's name, complete mailing address,
phone number and e-mail (if possible) and a vertical list of poem titles
or first lines (if no titles).

Deadline:
Entries to be postmarked on/or before March 31st, 2019.
